Market Development History
Prior to the 2000s, the Spanish market relied heavily on basic PVC and felt-based strips which lacked durability and offered minimal thermal resistance. These traditional methods were insufficient for the growing demand for acoustic insulation in dense urban centers like Madrid.
Between 2010 and 2020, the industry transitioned toward EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer) rubber. This era saw the widespread adoption of the door bottom seal strip, providing significantly better ozone resistance and flexibility across wider temperature ranges.
Currently, we are witnessing the integration of mechanical automation. The emergence of the automatic door sealing strip allows for a seamless transition between "open" and "sealed" states, minimizing wear while maximizing energy retention.

Bio-Based Polymer Integration
