Market Development History
Prior to 2010, the Moroccan market primarily used low-grade PVC strips which degraded rapidly under the intense North African sun. These early solutions provided minimal protection against the fine desert dust common in the region.
Between 2011 and 2018, there was a transition toward EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer) rubber. This period saw the introduction of the first automatic door sealing strip in industrial warehouses, significantly reducing energy costs for cold storage facilities in Agadir.
From 2019 to the present, the focus has shifted toward "Smart Sealing." The integration of thermoplastic elastomers (TPE) and multi-chamber designs has allowed for superior acoustic insulation and airtightness, meeting modern European building standards adopted in Morocco's new urban developments.
