Market Development History
Prior to the 2000s, the Russian market relied heavily on simple PVC or felt-based seals. These provided basic protection but lacked the longevity and thermal resistance required for high-performance industrial use, often requiring annual replacements.
Between 2010 and 2020, there was a transition toward TPE and EPDM injection molding. This era introduced the widespread use of the under door draft protection systems that integrated metallic carriers with rubber blades, significantly improving durability.
From 2021 onwards, the focus has shifted to "Smart Sealing." Integration with automated door sensors has led to the development of dynamic seals that adjust their tension based on the door's position, optimizing airtightness without increasing friction.
